Will MY PC run windows vista ultimate efficiently?

vista upgrade advisor told me my PC would run vista ultimate..
but will it work "efficiently" on this config?? taking the points:
I)Disk transfer rate
ii) Startup
iii) GAMES

Intel Core 2 Duo E4400 @ 2.00Ghz
Transcend 2 X 1 GB RAM (2GB total)
ASUS P5LD2-VM motherboard
SEAGATE BARRACUDA 160GB Internal IDE
NVIDIA GeForce 8500GT 256MB Graphic card
USB Mouse and keyboard (iBall)
Samsung laser Printer ML-1610
SyncMaster 740N TFT LCD
400W ATX PSU (iBall

Yeah it will run fine, my other system is running a Athlon 3500+ 2.2Ghz and 2GB DDR and it goes fine

Personally i would suggest home premium 64 and another 2gb of memory instead of Ultimate. The "extras" in Ultimate just arent worth the price difference.

1gb is really needed if you want to run without extra programs in the background, I recommend 1.5gb if you also run other stuff beside Web Browsing (Virus scans and such)
