see how 1337 it is?

Well, each 9600GT board is $145, if I get 2, that's already paying $60 more than what I'm paying now. On top of that, I need a better mobo to support SLi. Any mobo's that are under or around $150 for that?
John

Hows this mobo?
Newegg.com - EVGA 122-CK-NF68-T1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail

or should I go all out and get this 680i?

Get 2 9600's now and maybe a third later?
Also, will the corsair 520hx have enough juice to keep everything powered up?

So it's worth it to get the 680i A1 Mobo and 2 9600 GT's for an extra $155? Is it really worth it or should I just stick with the DS3L or DFI LGA 775 Mobo and 1 8800GT/8800GTS G92?

Also, more importantly, would the Corsair 520HX be able to handle the 680i and 2 9600's while powering the OC'ed Q6600 and 4GB Ram? Let me know!

Yes it is worth it IMO if you have the money because those results that vernog showed are sexy... 82% increase is beastly ! But if you do not want to spend the extra $$$$ then go for what you were going for before... It's not like its bad.. its just the more expensive option is obviously better.

I'll let someone else answer the question bout the PSU. But i do think so.

yes its worth it!! also the 680i A1 is capable of OC'ing to 4.0ghz with a q6600 (ask Mgcook or Nosboost300 ;))

PSU, still a yes, Ste concluded it could take 2 8800ultras, heavy oc'ed quad and what not, but I say that a PCP&C 610 is better since its cheaper than the Corsair 520hx @ the Egg
