windows loop

Hello all
I have a problem starting windows. What happened was one day in a land far away windows locked up so the pc was turned off and then rebooted. It went through the start up and got as far as the windows logo with the pulsating bar on the third pulse it jumps to the option screen (safe mode, normal, last known good config). Have tried all the option which again goes as far as the windows logo 3 pulse and back to the option screen and that loop would continue for ever.

If anyone knows how to break the loop and start windows that would be great

Do you have a windows cd. You should try to repair. Some of the system files are probably corrupt.

Yea. It was probably a corrupt Windows file and the repair did the trick.
