Um, not to be rude but you all kind of ended up bickering instead of helping me and thats what these forums are about... aren't they? Anyway I switched to the 8600 and don't notice much of a difference but I'm not really a hard core gamer anymore, so the fact that its quieter is enough for me to stick with it.

i think we kinda answered your question, just threw it in briefly before we began to flame each other...
but yeah, what you could do is sell both cards and get a better card, or just keep the 8600 and that should be fine for you if you aren't a hardcore gamer.
