For overclockers..like myself.. who want to push their hardware to the limit what motherboards are there that will support 4GHz on a Q6700 with Phase Cooling? - Budget = $700.00 maximum..not those $7,000+ ones O.0

I have heard this mobo is best:
DFI LANPARTY DK P35-T2RS LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX

I also just got a recommendation on this one:
Also if you haven't already bought your motherboard, consider waiting for either the x48 or p45 chipsets.

X48 should be available in the coming weeks and P45 should be launching beginning Q2

A q6700 has a 10x multi. All you'd need is 400FSB which basically ANY mobo can do. Heck i run my q6600 at 9x400 on air.

I can push 4ghz on my q6600 with my Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme using my 680i board. But i have to put entirely too much voltage into the chip. Your best bet is going to be an x38 board or 780i board if you want to run SLI.

i have the maximus formula and if u want u could post 500 fsb theyve been able to run up to 580fsb which is preaty insane, i got my fsb at 415 for my q6600 currently.
