So far they still look like terrible overclockers.....darn.

At least they didn't pan it out of hand. Any improvement is an improvement.

AMD seems to be on the right track, finally. Hopefully we'll see some competition in the near future.

When are they planning to shrink down to 45nm? Hopefully that will improve clocks.

They did...

Our B3 sample was very similar to our B2 chip in that we could get it stable at 2.6GHz but didn't have much luck getting it to run comfortably any faster. We suspect that it'll take a move to 45nm before AMD can really start to push the clock speed on Phenom.

Man, that sucks. looks like my phenom upgrade just went down the drain. it could be the board though.

I'd wait a bit and see once there are some more reviews. If it gets to 3.0-3.2ghz then it would be worth it IMO.
