Trying to install xp on 98 please help!!

ok, i have... er HAD a computer with windows 98. but someone moved the files in the system folder so now it wont start up. i want to put windows xp on it, i formatted the HDD on it but i cant get it to boot to the disk, it keeps trying boot from the HDD. how do i change the boot sequence so it boots from the xp installation disk??

Go to your system setup or BIOS. Usually to get there you have to press like ESC or DEL in the beginning when your computer is booting up. Then explore a little bit and find out where it has the boot sequences. You should be able to change it so that the Cdrom is the primary boot sequence.
