Heres my budget computer i have together. I'm a little inexperienced so i was hoping you guys could check this over for me and make sure all these parts are going to work good together. Also is that the correct version of Vista i should be buying?

One more question is this EVERYTHING i need to put this computer together? I don't need any wire harnesses or nothing like that, all good to go with the parts i have listed? All of this stuff WILL run good together?

Thanks guys

you're using a Case PSU, thats asking for bad news, and that Video Card is pretty bad if you have the intention to game

but everything else is fine, except you could get hte Biostar TA770 for $20 less

If that cards worth it i will make the upgrade.

Will the stock psu be ok for now? I figured it would be fine im not using super high powered parts but then again what do i know.

Is the Biostar TA770 just as good/better?

just as good, but with the cash you saved from the TA770, you can get the 8800gs, and its way better, if you can take the rebate

8800gs was what I was going to get with what my parents could afford, and with the stuff Tech Forums gave me I was going to buy it, my budget has dropped a lot!

I can afford the extra 30$. So should i just keep the orig board or is it just a waist is kinda what im getting at. Or should i even go with an Asus board or something.

So is the rest of it good? I'd like to make my order today, that version of vista is what i need? I don't need any other parts to put this together?

I would get this motherboard:
Newegg.com - MSI K9A2 CF-F AM2+/AM2 AMD 790X ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail
Newegg.com - ECS A780GM-A AM2+/AM2 AMD 780G HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail

8800GS is a ton better than the 8600GT, however if it doesn't fit your budget get:
Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100236L Radeon HD 3650 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Retail
for some hybrid crossfire action with the 780G motherboard.

But the 8800GS beats that hybrid crossfire though.

Alright 8800GS added only cost 10$ more, the windows vista came in a package which saved instant 20$.

Still undecided about the motherboard.
