now having problems with excel and quicken files

I thought I had everything. I forgot about my Quicken file. I am having trouble getting that to work. I have the file on the Vista machine but when I go to import the file to Quicken, it says it can not be validated and doesn't import it. I have been using Quicken 2006 Deluxe for the original file and on the Vista machine, I am using Quicken 2007 Deluxe.

I have tried to export the original file through Quicken 2006 but can't find any QIF files. I burned a second copy using Nero 7 and it still will not work.

You will have to contact Quicken on that one. I have not used Quicken and do not know how their software works or if it can work from 1 year to the next. I do not know if the 2007 version can read the 2006 files.
