What to do with old hardware

Hi, Does anyone have any suggests what I can use an old computer for. Sofar I've found these possible uses:

1. Using the computer to search for extraterrestrial intelligence with SETI

2. Make a carputer MP3CAR

Any other suggestions? (Possibly chuck it in the bin )

Use it as a gateway for the net so you can connect multiple comps in your house to the net (or for a gaming server).
Storage for old files??
Paper weight (depends how old this thing is)

Depending on how good it is buy some games and then have a LAN party. Are you could use for like work or something like for typing things and making documents and keeping records and use your new computer for games and multimedia.

Hey I bought an external Hard drive for my Kazaa stuff. Crappy thing is it's still connected to my pc so all that adware gets to it.
