Windows Vista partitions

Ouch! Once you had backed up any files on a second or third partition all you had to do there was simply use the expand option to grow the working primary in order to fill in the now unallocated drive space.

Now you will be starting all over needing to create a totally new single primary for Windows to go onto along with deciding if you want that as one single primary on the OS drive. Which drive are you installing Vista on the 120 or 250gb model as shown in your sig?

If the WD 120gb model simply one single primary would be advised being a typical size. The Maxtor 250gb model would then be partitioned and formatted for a storage drive there. This is your chance to decide how you want the drives and partitions on them layed out either a single partition on each or ?

Problem is fixed. Everything is fine now.

BTW, the problem was not on the machine in my sig. This problem was on a machine that I just built.

Well at least you didn't have to worry about losing too much repartitioning then. That will always help.
