I found a PC online as was wondering if anyone had recommendations. I am looking for a Gaming PC and Here is what I found for $650 US.

Intel PENTIUM E2180 DUAL CORE PROCESSOR
Asus P5B SE LGA775/ Core 2 Duo/ P965/ SATA2/ A&GbE/ ATX Motherboard
8GB (4x2GB) DDR-2 800MHZ PC-6400
500GB SATA2 7200rpm 16MB CACHE (HIGH PERFORMANCE)
20X DVD-RW DUAL LAYER W/LIGHTSCRIBE
nVidia GeForce 8500GT 512MB DVI/HDTV PCI-Express Video Card
ROSEWILL MID-TOWER ATX (BLACK)
All driver disks and manuals are included.
DVD/DVD-RW & CDRW software also included.

No Operating System?

Does this sound like a Good system, or not what I am looking for?

that is most definatly not a gaming pc, it has a very weak video card that could not run many games

you could build a great system with that budget that could play most every game

bot really a gaming system like said before, drop 2 gigs of ram and get a better gpu. Might want to get a better cpu as well.

Yeah, you could build something much nicer with a similar budget. Prebuilds just aren't the way to go and building your own is lot easier than you may think.

Well I saw the price and was wondering. I used to do a lot of online gaming and was looking to upgrade my current system:

Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 (build 2600)
2.40 gigahertz AMD Athlon 64
128 kilobyte primary memory cache
512 kilobyte secondary memory cache
Board: ASUSTeK Computer INC. A8N-SLI DELUXE 1.XX
SONY CD-RW CRX320E [CD-ROM drive]
SONY DVD RW DRU-720A [CD-ROM drive]

Maxtor 6Y080P0 [Hard drive] (81.96 GB) -- drive 1
WDC WD740GD-00FLA0 [Hard drive] (74.35 GB) -- drive 0
1024 Megabytes Installed Memory

Default Monitor

The system I listed above I built myself a few years ago. My Budget would be around $1000 give or take a few hundred.

Time mostly. If I had the Time I would upgrade my Current system. But it seems easier to get another one, this way I can still use my existing sytem. Any thought s with my budget?

It is good system

But just change the video card to this
Newegg.com - XFX PVT88SFDF4 GeForce 8800GS 384MB 192-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail

8GB ram is overkill, just get 2GB
