razer mouse problem

my habu started acting up a few days ago. it will randomly not work for 5 seconds, and sometimes make the new hardware connected sound. I even changed the usb ports and it still happens

Have you checked for updated chipset drivers or Razer drivers?

yea, i have the latest drivers and firmware

So it is intermitten but everything is up to date and you have tried a different USB port. I have no clue then. Maybe clean the mouse? Contact Razer for a replacement?
