getting a new CPU - is it worth?

this is my configuration:

MB Asrock DualSATA
AMD Athlon64 3200+ sck.939
2GB DDR400
GeForce 7600GT
HDD Hitachi 160GB
...

i am thinking of buying a new, dual-core CPU (Athlon64 X2 3800+); i could get it for about 70€, and i could sell the one i currently have for about 20-30€. so what do you think, would this upgrade make a big difference, is it worth 40-50€?

It would make a difference if you're into multitasking, and playing games that support more than one core.

Or you might want to sell that system, and upgrade to socket AM2, because your system is pretty outdated.

it's night and day. Selling your system would be better though as the more recent parts are cheaper than your outdated stuff to purchase.
