Stupid Question

I am sorry to waste all you fine people's time, but, HOW do I configure my computer to have my "TRAY" visible at all times. Currently, I lose it when I have any window open.... even IE. It is only visible if I am only looking at my desktop.

Right click on the task bar > properties > tick the box that says "keep the taskbar on top of other windows"
