Power supply is too much power for that system. Get the Corsair 620HX if you still want modular. If you don't mind about modular, I would suggest the PC Power & Cooling Silencer 610W. They can easily power that system, and have alot of room for future upgrades.

I'm running a Hiper Type-R 580W, and it's working well.
running:
AMD 6000+ at ~3450MHZ (ADX model)
2 x 3870's in crossfire
6 x hard drives
1 x IDE DVD burner
8 x 120mm case fans
1 x MCP655 water pump

That HIPER power supply has less amps than the 520HX, so no doubt, it can power what you're planning on.

Right on.. I believe that's cheaper also.. I just hope it can run everything full speed if I buy it.

ok... So. I guess I have the green light to begin ordering these parts.. as long as everything will work well with each other and the performance is good.

no not that case anymore - - and some specs are different motherboard..heatsink.. etc
