I love my MX518. Felt huge at first...but after about a week, I was used to it. I don't go up to the full 1800dpi (usually only 1600-1700dpi). It's quite a nice mouse.

it has the same dpi setting 400 800 and 2000, and you can use the software to choose a setting anywhere between those and assign it to the dpi buttons.
then main difference is it's cordless, but it performs just as well.

woops, ur right the g7 has 2000dpi, its the g9 that has 3200dpi, got them confused

yepper i gots one. i run it at at 500, 1650, and 2000. usually set at 1650...it's perfect.

1. they have different feels, both great mice
2. G9 may LOOK ugly but i think it plays really well, tho for the price i would take the G7 over it

i love my g7. I wish it went higher dpi though. on a 24in, 2000 is just not enough. But i dont wanna buy a enw one..
