Laptop Cooling

I have a Dell 600m that is constantly overheating when running demanding programs like 3D games etc. I need some steps to trying to cool it down. Thnx.

Make sure that none of the vents are blocked by dust or anything.

I will.. since Dell 600ms always overheat due to an engineering flaw.. will using SpeedFan to set the fans to max work at all?

I wouldn't trust Speedfan. They're known for being inaccurate and reporting bogus readings.

This should fix you right up. I leave my fans running at high speed all the time. You'll just have to blow the dirt out of the heatsinks more often.

Speedfan is just like that. Not a very good monitoring program in my opinion.
