Why do people insist on getting wolfdales? Because of the 4+ clocks? 4 > 2.

Man, they have been out of stock everywhere for weeks. I have everything for my new build sitting around waiting for that last part.

Anyone have any idea whatthe situation is, and whether they are due back in stock soon? It's killing me to wait!

P.S. thanks to everyone on this forum for all the great advice (to a couple of my posts, but just reading other posts in general).

Just to let you know you can get the E3110. Same thing as the 8400.

Actually the e8400 is cheaper to make than a q6600 due to the die size. 45nm is cheaper to produce than 65nm, and the q6600 has double the cores, thus extra production costs. The e8400 is more expensive because its "new" and thus you get to pay for the novelty of new technology.
