Ok, so this is my first time overclocking. I successfully got my processor up to 2.8Ghz per core, and have had it at that for a while now. I decided to take it up a notch to 3.0Ghz. When I did, everything went fine up until my computer got to my desktop, then a LOUD high pitched beep came out of my speakers, and nothing showed up on the screen. What am I doing wrong? Btw, I have an Intel Core 2 Duo E6420.
