Help me upgrade! Cant decide what to do!

Its set on 1024x768. It was the default, but Ive never really felt the need to change cuz I do excellent on it, what kind of difference does it make if i change it?

what size is your monitor? Playing on 1900x1200 is very sharp. You should play at the native resolution of your monitor. Lowering it will only make it look bad.

Edit: just noticed you have a 19" wide so 1440x900 is what you should play at and the 8800 gt will own that

Ok I have looked at nearly every gfx card out there. For the best price and performance as far as I can tell looks like this:

if you are only playing on 1440x900 (19in) then a GT will serve you jsut fine. but that is a good card none the less
