samsung dvd writer?

dvd roms and cd roms arn't my thing so don't laugh. can this drive:

Samsung sh-s203 (sata)burn cd's.play cd's, play dvd's, and i know it can burn dvds because its a dvd burner.

If it can burn dvd's, then it can play dvd's and both write/read cd's.
