Video Card for high resolutions?

I actually don't have a SLI motherboard...

So the 8800GTS 512MB revision is the way to go?

Is it one of these, and what is the difference between the two?

Thanks for the help, guys Was going to buy the 8800GTX but if one of these is a better card I'll go with it. (I've been using eVGA for a while, but any brand is fine)

you don't need an SLI board for hd3870 x2

(its Crossfire for ATi btw )

you can run ATI cards on nVidia Chipsets and vice versa
