well if you got benchmarks to prove this maybe he will change his mind.
He did his own research and said he will just stick with raptors.... he use to build pc's a while ago so he does know some stuff.

And now i guess he might actaully try buiilding it himself and have me check it when i get there...

so other than the raptos, is everything a go?

if you are referring to the 1st post just make sure you get a seagate 7200.11 drive.. be very adamant about the .11 drive it has 32mb cache on it way better than the .10 drive

you are mistaking, I think you're thinking of Seagate Cheetahs

yes the cheetahs are 15k but i swore that there was a spin point that was released with a 15k rpm... maybe it was a prototype.. eh o well, but regardless there are faster drives than the raptors
