untitled-4.jpg

k WTF? the cpu at 194f? holy ****!! what could be causing this? this thing was basically idleing!!!!!!

i was playing a game (No One Lives Forever 2) about half an hour ago then was reading emails on other computer while it sat idle... i set it to unistall a game... went downstairs for 10 minutes then i move the mouse and AHHHH ASUSPROB CPU 194 degrees!!!

Y??? i mean not a blip all during gaming for probably 2-3 hours but... i mean even my hdd were almost 100f!!!??

the side of the case is even off!!!

argh^%*()_)(^&%$@#^$#^(*&&^#$%)_)#$%^&* IM ****ED!!

Check your heatsink and make sure it's seated tightly against your CPU. Also reapply some thermal paste. What is your fan speed?
You can get rivatuner to check that out.

im running a LCS from cooler master and from what i can tell its passing fluid i have just replaced fluid and flushed system no bubbles...

Have you tried another program like Coretemp or speedfan?

You can reapply better thermal paste such as Artic silver or MX-2, add more fans, add a increased CFM fan to the heatsink or lower room temparture.

And or course as suggest, clean dust out.

not OCed

i have used speedfan and it says same coretemp fails to work some BS about not being Intel stepped or something

have reapplied arctic silver

side of case is off and plenty of fans anyway

just vacuumed radiator

see the problem just happens randomly i can game for 3-4 hours and nothing cpu temp sits around 114f. i can then just have the thing idle and it goes banannas 194-200f (no **** has hit 200f)

have run it through an online auto analyzer and it gave nothing

Nothing terrible that I can see, but you might want to have osiris look at it, if not just go through his guide.
http://www.techist.com/forums/f51/hijackthis-tutorial-guide-165818/

Other than that, if the computer isn't shuting off and programs are responding normally, I wouldn't worry about it.
Prescotts run really hot, even though 95C is pushing it..

You never said it was shutting off or giving you errors right?
