I've got a component input port on the front of my PC and I really don't know what to do with it. I have an HP Media Center m7780n and I have tried plugging my xbox 360 and wii into my PC in hopes of being able to play them on my PC monitor when my roommate is using the TV we have. If anyone knows if these will work with my counsels or what would work in it and how I could get it to work.

Make & Model of your computer would help out.

He mentioned it in the beginning, which is the m7780n.

My only guess is that the front connectors are outputs, not inputs.

If you want to get your 360 playing on your monitor, you just have to get the 360 VGA HD cable. It hooks directly into the monitor.

Oh, and...

Welcome to T F !!!!

I thought it would make sense to be output too but it says input right next to the plug-ins. I could buy the cable and go directly to the monitor I just want to know what use the component in has.

He said it. Reading carefully also helps.

Well Gee Thanks for the tip. I'l try and not ever slip up again.
