8800GTS (g92) + dual monitors

read the post ... he said he knows he doesnt have to have sli to run 2 monitors but he was wondering how running two on one 8800 would effect the fps and resolution

i did read the post.
i was only stating that no, indeed, he does not need an SLI setup to run two monitors BECAUSE IT DOESNT WORK THAT WAY.

really when you think about sli not working with 2 monitors... kinda defeats the point really

if you have a 24" or up it makes a pretty substantial difference in FPS.
i never really got the dual monitor thing, but like i said, to each his own.

o yes, i realize sli improves performance... i just dont think it justifies the expenses and i think it is stupid that when you sli you cant use the extra power to run two monitors
