mouse and keyboard dont work after standby...

ok, now i have a WEIRD problem. when i enter standby, there is no picture on the screen or mouse and keyboard on, but all of my fans are still spinning and all the lights are still going. also, in the bottom right corner it shows a little power chord that says on AC power. I think AI suite might have messed this up? i hit calirate on AI Suite in AI Gear 3. It changes power or osmthing. what is going on!!! i dont know what is happening! lol. I just want to put PC in standby completely off. this on AC power thing is so weird!
