I think I will get this card: Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100175L Radeon X1650PRO 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 AGP 4X/8X Video Card - Retail

Looks pretty good for the price. I just gotta make sure its 1.5v otherwise I will **** something up.

That's one of the best models for ATI AGP cards seen at newegg lately. Another option would be the Diamknd X1550 512mb model seen at Newegg.com - DIAMOND X1550PRO512ASB Radeon X1550 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 AGP 4X/8X Video Card - Retail for a 512mb model. Any 256mb card would work as well there due the board being a 2x/4x capable model while the cards there are all 4x/8x.

Best agp, you pay premium though... and gets bottlenecked by a crappy cpu if you have one.

I would say this would be the best buy:

You won't see the graphics acceleration while seeing a boost even with a 128mb model card on the old system there simply by having more memory onboard over some old 32mb 2x/4x model. The latest Radeon model would be too much of an over kill right away!

Eventually when you go for an upgrade at some point as you already know would see even more likely a PCI-E 2.0 card at this time. Besides the card simply adding another 512mb of memory will help a lot there according to what the board supports. Any good 256mb to 512mb video card will suffice while boosting memory capacity will help even more.
