Hey, recently the power supply on my workstation blew out and the motherboard on my other computer as well, so i decided to combine them. The problem is that im not sure if the power supply in the working computer is big enough to handle all the components. The specs are: P4 2.8ghz (either northwood or prescott), 1gb ddr (433mhz), 160gb Sata, 120gb Ide, nvidia 5500 gfx card, dvd-rom, dvd-rw. The power supply is a new Antec 350. Also, i hear a very highpitched noise coming from the computer, could this be the power supply straining?

Thanks

That system is not demanding at all, and the Antec 350 should have enough amps to handle it.

any idea what the high pitched noise could be? i figured that it was coming from the ps, but since its new im not sure.
