e8400+ bios update?

when i follow the steps, the command.com and whatever isnt showing up in the flash drive. I think im gunna give up...

if you followed the steps the drive is now bootable from dos. You don't see anything in the drive. Go to the mfr. website for your mobo and add the files necessary to the thumbdrive. Go into bios and change boot priority to flash drive. Save and exit. Then execute when asked.

edit:
This has the hp tool and the bootfiles you need. Just unrar them into a new folder and format your drive w/ the bootfiles and there you have it.
