This is a micron clientpro computer - XP operating system, Pentium 4 processor with 512 ram.

To my knowledge the computer has never been put into hibernate mode.

When I turn the computer on the hibernate light shows on the tower. I get nothing but a blank screen on the monitor and the keyboard doesn't work at all.

The voltage readings on the power supply are good. I have tried a new graphics card and a new hard drive, still nothing.

I have tried switching the mouse and keyboard and there was no difference.

Any ideas on what could be causing this and how to fix it?

Thanks for your help.

Sounds similar to a problem I had with my RAM, ended up that one of the sticks had gone bad...mine would boot, everything would power up but the montior never got a message, it's light would just blink on and off like it was in hibernation and the screen was always blank...anyways, that's my stab in the dark for you.
