If you a gamer then I would get 8800GS

384MB 8800GS does perform much better than 1GB 8600GT

if you don't have enough cash for the 8800gs (like I don't for my new build)

get the Newegg.com - HIS Hightech H385F256NP Radeon HD 3850 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Retail

even though its worth it to spend the extra $10 for the GS
