Even though this video card have only 64SP, it performs better than both HD3850 and 8800GS. It is on par with HD3870 and just slightly slower than 8800GT

i thought that all the 9 series was going to support direct x 10.1, that would be a slight advantage.

Im gonna have to agree...as shown the 9600gt does not beat the 8800gt 256 in every game as someone previously said, some even with aa/af enabled.

I don't get it, why is this part of the 9 series? They just started the 8 series, and there isn't enough new architecture in these chips to change.

there really isn't much new architecture, its just a new budget gaming card
