Laptop internet sharing help

How do i allow another laptop to use my internet if we are already connected to the same network and i already enable internet sharing in the internet properties?The other laptop has some kind of error DNS configuration!

internet connection sharing is only for sharing an internet connection that is connected directly to one computer then passed through to another. if the two computers are connected to say, a network switch that is connected to a router/modem then we have to do something else.

in the latter case you may be having problems with NAT.
