thanks guys, (yea santa loves to make uuber head shots :p ) hopefully i'll get all my parts from new egg by tomorrow and the rest from tiger direct by monday so it'll be up and running by (hopefully) tuesday or wednesday
 
The power supply is overkill.
Corsair 550VX or 520HX or PC power and Cooling Silencer 610.
Those are not your only choices, refer to power supply guide linked in signature.
