I have a problem with sound. Very strange problem.

First of all, I work with XP, the sound here works fine, I can hear everything. But when I install Ubuntu the sound is gone, it just works when I plug the connector on the front panel that now is broken, so i can't here nothing in Ubuntu. I try everything in the sound configuration but nothing.

Also I have installed Vista, and I can't here nothing also, the same problem with Ubuntu.

They both require sound drivers. That is why it works under XP but no other OS.
