Need help fast! Front USB port Ribbon Cable.

I just sold a guy my old dell, and he got it and is telling me that the front usb ribbon cable is broken and doesnt want it, even tho i offered 20 dollars off. Anyway, i found dell brand ribbon cable from 20 bucks, but do any of you know if i can get a generic motherboard to front usb 2.0 i/o panel ribbon cable anywhere for a normal (not $20) ribbon cable price?

You can always try Newegg.com Or eBay, Call around at a local pc store

I already looked over what was available at newegg to see extension cables with male connectors at each end not suitable for board to front port connection. The site there carries replacement cables you generally find included with a new board.

Try a local shop that fixes pc's i wouldnt think anymore then 4-5$ and they should have them..

Regardless of where you buy the article seen at the second link will be needed since you could end up having to splice the existing cable at the port end if that is somehow crimped into it. You're dealing with a prebuild not custom system there.
