Right when you turn on your PC and it POSTs, just keep on hitting the delete key until you are in Bios.
No Idea What's Wrong

Ok...so I figured out the BIOS thing with my keyboard and that works now. However, I tried starting up in safe mode and it did the same thing. It just stops on a black screen and won't advance any further. Any other ideas...thanks for all of your help so far.

If you can hear your hard drive still working after the screen goes black you'll more than likely need a new video card.

It may not be the video card, if he gets a boot screen, then it could EASILY be his video drivers have become corrupted, and just needs to start into safemode, remove them, reinstall them.
