New AGP card for lower-end system?

Hey guys, this is my first post.

I've got two comps:
- my regular gaming monster; and
- my other is a very normal 1.8 ghz sempron, 1 gig ddr2, 80g pata.

Me and my friend sometimes bring our comps over and LAN something up.

So I was wondering what would the best AGP card be, keeping in mind I don't want the VERY best, because obviously my system will bottleneck at the CPU, or the ram, or the HDD...well, anywhere. =P

Go for either the 6000 or 7000 series. The 6800 is a fairly good card considering it's AGP. There's also the 7800GS but that's the top. Good luck finding one in the PCI-E flooded market now!

No prob. The 7950 would just run around the same speed as the 6800 because of your CPU as you said.
