Pc Keep Restarting

Hi, wonder anyone of you experience this situation before...

PC keep restarting..

I've tried safe mode / safe mode with networking / safe mode with command prompt / Last known configuration OR Normal mode does not make it to load into OS...it doesn't make it to show me any blue screen as it flash too fast... anyone can help ?

I've open the cover and try observe any sound from my CPU and I only noticed the hard-disk would make a 'click' sound before it went restart again...

PC Spec

Win XP Pro
Intel P4 2.4Ghz
1GB RAM
40 GB HDD

Harddrive clicking means the drive is dead or on it's way there.

You should back up the data if possible then purchase a new harddrive.

if the hard drive clicks then restarts, sounds like the hard drive could be failing.

Beat me to it!!

I would try installing xp again, could be a bad installation.
