The E has the ICH9R (RAID) southbridge while the other one has the normal ICH9.

The board designs are also much different.

also, newegg has this open box at 140 vs the 190 pricetag normally

its open box so its much more likely it will be missing cables or have other issues

but for like 50 off, and since it has a return policy, isnt it a good buy in the case i get a good one ? (and just return if its defective?)

P5K, the board that i have : two 16x PCI-e , one 1x PCI-e and 3 pci
P5K-E: Adds more Raid options with Intel matrix storage, Adds Wifi, optical out, and more copper but no heat-pipe (useless anyway)
P5K-Deluxe: same as the p5k-e, adds the RJ-45 and even more copper.

Very similar boards, i would get the deluxe for the **** of it.

yea, i think im going to get the open box, stress test the **** and oc on it to make sure it works and everything inside the 15 days so i know if its good or not. I just have to sell my ds3r now.
