I'm making the switch from AMD Opty to C2D E8400 Wolfdale soon and i'm trying to get some closure on a motherboard. I'll probably be getting this ram:

Newegg.com - G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail

Right now i have this mobo picked out:

Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX All Solid Capacitor Intel Motherboard - Retail

Is that a good board or is there another one anyone can suggest? I'm trying to keep the price of the board low since i'm going to spend 240 or so on the CPU.

~thanks

first its Penryn is the Mobile Varient of Quad-Cores and what happened to your big extreme build

I suggest the Abit IP35-e over the p35-ds3l

cheaper, better ascetics (this shouldn't really affect your opinion) , better oc'ing ability
