Re: The Tech Forums Official 3DMark06 Top List

I will be in here soon with a 4.5ghz run. I am in windows at that speed now, but I need to reinstall xp, because I am on vista right now. So maybe tomorrow night I will have one for yall :D

Re: The Tech Forums Official 3DMark06 Top List

im noticing a wierd problem right now.
i ran 3dmark with my q6600@3ghz and my gpu at stock and my score was 14,156 with the new drivers (171.23)
now when i overclock my gpu to any speed, my score stays the same....any idea why?

Re: The Tech Forums Official 3DMark06 Top List

The gpu in regards to overclocking at least, usually only provides a minuscule performance boost when it comes to 3dmark06

Re: The Tech Forums Official 3DMark06 Top List

darn, that means I might not be able to get 15.5K (i got 13.7K at 4ghz.) I think at 4.5 with a little gpu OC, I can get 15K

well somethings wrong...cos idid get to 16k somehow unless that was with the cpu score boost.
Ill run a test with 3.6 and check i guess.
