well considering he's buying a prebuilt.. maybe you can eliminate overclocking...

and playing a game that doesnt use Multi Gpu, the 8800gt will take on the 3870... and 8800gt sli is better than 3870 crossfire anyway...

It really doesn't matter XP or Vista but i recommend vista, direct x10 and improved visuals.

yes they are for the price of a qx6850 you could get a q6600 and phase change :0

Oh and the power supply is overkill.
If you get phase it is reccomended you run it off a separate power supply.

There are better quality Kilo Watt + power supplies in comparision to Tagan.
Like PC Power and Cooling, Super Micro and Ultra X3.

the hiper is more efficiant and has more amps
the silverstone just has more connecters
