I just built my new computer and it seems to be working fine. I overclocked my q6600 to 3.2 and have my ReaperX HPC edition ram running at 1:1 with timings 4-4-3-15. I installed vista, microsoft student edition, and outlook fine without a problem. Now whenever I go to install a game from a CD I get a CRC error saying a file is corrupted. I know the discs aren't corrupted because there is no dirt on them and they installed fine on my last computer. I read on the internet a bad stick of ram could be the problem so i ran memtest for 2 hours but didn't receive any errors. the only problems I could think of were a) my SAMSUNG Black 20X DVD+R 8X DVD SH-S203N is broken, or B) my segate 7200.11 500gb hardrive is causing problems with the 32 mb cache.

I really need help with this so any help is appreciated.
