What you guys think of this graphics card? Do any of you own it and can give me first hand advice? I am supposed to build a gaming computer for a guy at work that is on a budget and thought of this graphics card.

He would probably be better off grabbing an 8800gt 512 for an extra 40 or 50 bucks.

Looking at some reviews puts this card about 25% behind a gt

it's a great card for what it is..but if you can afford the 512mb 8800GT you'll be even better off.

Is it G92 or G80?

I would like to see two of those in SLI vs. single GT 512.

G92, its basically an 8800gt with less shaders, 384mb ram, and smaller heatsink. I wanna see two of em in sli also.

I used to have a 6800GS and I remember it performed better than my buddies GT of higher specs, this makes me curious.

but then you'd have to get a new board, remember 570 Ultra isn't SLI ready
