ok, first off. my hp is 350 mHz. i vhanged the processor chip to a 475 mHz. but it still reads as 350 mHz. do i have to configure the bios for that? and, if so, how do i do that? the bios are somewhat confusing to me so i dont get into them if i dont have to/
secondly, i have a conflict (!) in device manager under 'processor support'. this is a new one one me and i have no idea how to address this issue. and, no, it has nothing to do with me changing the mHz. this has been on here for months, before i changed anything. i just havent been able to figure out how to fix it.
heres the info on my 'p o s' pc......thanks, betsy

Sweetthang57,

First of all, welcome to our forums.

In case you're new to forums in general, when a member posts a topic, we like to keep it on the same track until the problem is solved. This avoids confusion and avoids having to carry on multiple conversations at once. Especially in cases like this (although your problems may be similar) trying to solve 2 separate PC problems can lead to confusion & inefficiencies.

If you don't mind, please post your own separate thread on this where you will get more responses. Thx.
