I recently bought:

Foxconn 945G7MD-8KS2H
INTEL Celeron 420
KINGMAX DDR2 512MB FBGA MARS
+other parts needed for a computer like hdd, dvdrw, mouse etc

The pc is using a 400W power supply

The problem is: cpu cooler works, hdd, dvdrw etc work,

but there's nothing on my monitor.

I tried using the onboard video or an ati board, it doesnt matter
I tried using or not using the secondary 4pin power supply plug on the mobo

Any ideas ?

Thanks in advance

You need the 4 prong plug for CPU power but if that isn't working try to have the power supply tested. They can do this at any computer store. Or you can with a volt meter.
Try to take your ram out and boot to see if you get error beeps.

Thank you for your answer

No error beeps if ram chip removed

The psu doesn't have sata connectors so maybe could it be an older version which isn't compatible with newer motherboards ?

If there is no Beeps when you remove the RAM modules I think you should try ressetting your BIOS.
