heres somethign ive always wondered

whats the difference between a 256 mb card and a 512 mb card?
like how much of a difference does it make in performance and gaming between the two?
and like what is the difference? is there just more space to run games or something on a 512 mb card?

I've been getting really angry in the middle of school thinking how stupid i was not to research what SE ment when i bought my 680i motherboard... right now that SE is holding me back from my OC'ing hopes and dreams But i'm trying to work through it, lol.

I just take it as a lesson that you should research your stuff alot more before you buy it.
